What Is RSVP Speed Reading?

RSVP stands for Rapid Serial Visual Presentation. It's a speed reading technique where words are displayed one at a time in a fixed position on the screen. Instead of moving your eyes across lines of text, you keep your gaze fixed on one spot while words are flashed in rapid succession.

This method was developed based on research into how the brain processes visual information. By eliminating eye movements (saccades) and preventing regression (re-reading), RSVP allows your brain to focus entirely on processing each word, resulting in significantly faster reading speeds.
